The Opportunity:

As a Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote the school to a wide range of stakeholders. This role is essential in attracting new students and maintaining strong relationships with existing families, alumni, and partners. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure the school's brand is consistently represented across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new students and enhance retention.
  • Manage and coordinate multi-channel marketing campaigns across all school departments.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align marketing initiatives with the school’s strategic goals.
  • Oversee the Marketing Coordinator and ensure seamless coverage during absences.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents, pupils, alumni, and external partners.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure all communications are consistent with the school’s brand and values.
  • Support the development of marketing materials and digital content.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and multi-channel communication.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in independent or boarding schools.
  • Familiarity with school admissions and recruitment processes.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Understanding of the UK education market and student recruitment trends.
