Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that align with the school’s curriculum and ethos.
• Engage and motivate students to achieve at levels beyond their expectations.
• Plan and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs, styles, and capabilities of students.
• Use technology and ICT tools to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
• Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding student progress and attainment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and fair disciplinary practices and safeguard student well-being.
• Contribute to department meetings and planning of after-school activities.
• Support the school’s community engagement initiatives, including attending events outside of regular school hours.
• Uphold the highest standards of academic honesty and integrity in all professional interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or Primary education or relevant degree and a recognized Teaching Qualification/License.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in recognized school or international school environments.
• Outstanding classroom practice and proven teaching experience.
• Experience working with educational inspection authorities such as DSIB or OFSTED.
• Strong communication skills with high standards of professionalism in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Preferred

• Experience of working in an international school setting.
• Knowledge and understanding of current educational developments in the UAE.
• Familiarity with the New York State Next Generation Early Learning Standards (training provided).
• Commitment to professional learning and continuous improvement in education.
