Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons aligned with the IB curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrate technology-enhanced learning.
• Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies.
• Support the school’s commitment to innovation by staying current with industry trends and best practices.
• Mentor and guide students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and design skills.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the school’s community engagement and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field with a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, PGDE, QTS or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB setting.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Design & Technology curriculum and pedagogy.

Preferred

• Experience teaching the IB curriculum.
• Demonstrated ability to use technology in the classroom.
• Passion for education and student-centered learning.
• Experience in fostering creativity and innovation in students.
