The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Math Teacher to join its Secondary British School Team. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to fostering student success and contributing to a collaborative, supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students across a range of abilities.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and professional development.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health and safety policies.
• Act as a form tutor and provide pastoral care to students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status.
• A teaching qualification that meets the requirements of your home country (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, GDE).
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification teaching experience in a similar role and subject area.
• Proven track record of outstanding teaching.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a classroom environment.

Preferred

• Experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL.
• Experience working with highly aspirational and able students.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Safeguarding/Child Protection procedures.
• Experience using ICT tools for teaching and record-keeping.
