A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join its team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics up to A Level, including Further Mathematics where applicable.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote student achievement and personal development.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school and support student well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and planning.
  • Support students through pastoral duties, including form tutoring and report writing.
  • Mark student work and set appropriate tasks in case of absence.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to the school’s ongoing improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree and qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • A strong commitment to student development and a passion for the subject.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience with pastoral care and form tutoring.
  • Familiarity with co-curricular activities and student engagement.
