The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Maths Teacher to join a supportive department and make a meaningful impact on students’ learning journeys. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or Early Career Teachers looking to grow and contribute to a high-achieving, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality maths lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports every student’s progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the maths department and school improvement partners to raise attainment and improve outcomes.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities, including maths competitions and enrichment programs.
  • Support the implementation of the school’s teaching and learning model, including the 5 Pillars and restorative practices.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide targeted support to students through one-to-one interventions and maths hub resources.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and colleagues to support student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching maths at the relevant level.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student-centered learning.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with maths enrichment programs or competitions.
  • Familiarity with the 5 Pillars of teaching and learning.
  • Experience in restorative practice or relational teaching methods.
  • Background in working with high-ability students or maths circles.
  • Interest in maths education research and innovation.
