The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Maths Teacher to join a supportive department and make a meaningful impact on students’ learning journeys. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or Early Career Teachers looking to grow and contribute to a high-achieving, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality maths lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports every student’s progress.
- Work collaboratively with the maths department and school improvement partners to raise attainment and improve outcomes.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, including maths competitions and enrichment programs.
- Support the implementation of the school’s teaching and learning model, including the 5 Pillars and restorative practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide targeted support to students through one-to-one interventions and maths hub resources.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and colleagues to support student success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching maths at the relevant level.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student-centered learning.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with maths enrichment programs or competitions.
- Familiarity with the 5 Pillars of teaching and learning.
- Experience in restorative practice or relational teaching methods.
- Background in working with high-ability students or maths circles.
- Interest in maths education research and innovation.
