The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths instruction across Key Stages 3 to 5, including IGCSE, A Level, and IB.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the UK curriculum and international standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental strategies and support student success.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students reach their full potential.
  • Stay current with educational trends and technological advancements to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to maintain high standards of teaching.
  • Support the school’s mission of academic excellence and student well-being through active involvement in co-curricular and pastoral activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and QTS with PGCE.
  • Proven ability to teach Maths across Key Stages 3 to 5, including IB and A Level.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in a British curriculum school or international setting.
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving outstanding student results.
  • Experience with the use of technology in teaching and learning.
