The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join an outstanding department dedicated to fostering a passion for mathematics and driving student achievement. The role offers the opportunity to teach IGCSE and IB Mathematics, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and innovation in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students across IGCSE and IB pathways.
• Develop and implement engaging, curriculum-aligned lesson plans that promote deep conceptual understanding.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to ensure academic success.
• Participate in extra-curricular activities, including the UKMT Challenge and Dubai Maths Competition.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum and support student learning.
• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Stay current with educational trends and incorporate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the wider school community through professional development and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience teaching GCSE Mathematics.
• A B.Ed. or degree in a related subject with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding learning and teaching.
• Commitment to student success and a belief in the potential of all learners.
• Experience contributing to an enriched curriculum programme.

Preferred

• Previous experience teaching an IB pathway.
• Experience with A Level or IB Higher Level Mathematics.
• Familiarity with the UKMT Challenge and other mathematics competitions.
