Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum and school objectives.
  • Plan and develop curricula that support a broad and balanced education, ensuring alignment with school and subject requirements.
  • Monitor, assess, and record student progress to inform teaching and learning strategies.
  • Use data effectively to identify learning gaps and support student achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Stay up to date with subject-specific knowledge and developments in mathematics education.
  • Support students in developing a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or related subjects.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject following the UK National Curriculum.
  • UK Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS).
  • Knowledge of data disaggregation, analysis, and differentiation for students.
  • Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices.
  • Proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding student results.

Preferred

  • Experience in a faith-based educational environment.
  • Familiarity with the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum.
  • Experience with Quran memorisation programmes or Islamic Studies.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with technology-enhanced learning and classroom management tools.
