Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum and school objectives.
- Plan and develop curricula that support a broad and balanced education, ensuring alignment with school and subject requirements.
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress to inform teaching and learning strategies.
- Use data effectively to identify learning gaps and support student achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Stay up to date with subject-specific knowledge and developments in mathematics education.
- Support students in developing a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to the school’s unique Islamic faith-based environment and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or related subjects.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject following the UK National Curriculum.
- UK Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS).
- Knowledge of data disaggregation, analysis, and differentiation for students.
- Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices.
- Proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding student results.
Preferred
- Experience in a faith-based educational environment.
- Familiarity with the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum.
- Experience with Quran memorisation programmes or Islamic Studies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with technology-enhanced learning and classroom management tools.
