Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality maths lessons that engage students and promote deep understanding.

- Support the continuous improvement of maths education through professional development and peer collaboration.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure all learners achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to contribute to school improvement and policy development.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them build confidence and a positive attitude towards maths.
- Stay up to date with current educational research and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
- Proven experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics
- Evidence of recent and relevant professional development
- Commitment to student achievement and inclusion
Preferred
- Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers
- Accredited Lead Practitioner status or working towards it
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Familiarity with evidence-based teaching practices
