Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with complex needs through one-to-one or small group interventions.
• Deliver targeted learning support across a range of subjects, including Maths and the Sciences.
• Assist in developing individualized learning plans and track student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent and effective learning strategies.
• Provide a caring and encouraging environment that promotes confidence and motivation in students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with staff and parents.
• Stay up to date with best practices in special needs education and learning support.
• Participate in school-wide training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Strong English, Maths, and ICT skills.
• Confidence in supporting pupils up to GCSE level across a range of subjects.
• A caring, patient, and committed attitude.

Preferred

• Knowledge of supporting pupils in mathematics and the sciences.
• Previous experience in a similar role, although not essential for exceptional candidates.
