Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with complex needs through one-to-one or small group interventions.
- Deliver targeted learning support across a range of subjects, including Maths and the Sciences.
- Assist in developing individualized learning plans and track student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent and effective learning strategies.
- Provide a caring and encouraging environment that promotes confidence and motivation in students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with staff and parents.
- Stay up to date with best practices in special needs education and learning support.
- Participate in school-wide training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in supporting pupils with complex needs.
- Strong English, Maths, and ICT skills.
- Confidence in supporting pupils up to GCSE level across a range of subjects.
- A caring, patient, and committed attitude.
Preferred
- Knowledge of supporting pupils in mathematics and the sciences.
- Previous experience in a similar role, although not essential for exceptional candidates.
