The Opportunity:

A Maths Teacher is needed to inspire and educate students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young people's academic and personal development within a dynamic and supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach well-structured, differentiated lessons that promote excellent progress.
  • Monitor and assess student achievement, preparing pupils for internal and external examinations.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Support students pastorally as a Registration (Adviser) tutor.
  • Lead or contribute to revision sessions and enrichment opportunities.
  • Play an active role in the co-curricular life of the school, including clubs, trips, and community events.
  • Participate in a small number of boarding duties on a rota basis.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Holds a degree and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Has experience teaching Maths across KS3–KS5.
  • Sets high expectations and inspires students to excel.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management.
  • Is reflective, organised, and committed to professional development.
  • Has a genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Strong leadership or team collaboration skills.
  • Experience in co-curricular or extracurricular activities.
