The Opportunity:

A Maths Teacher is needed to join a dynamic and successful department. This role involves teaching across Key Stages 3–5, with a focus on inspiring students and supporting their academic growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging, well-structured lessons that foster strong mathematical understanding
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
  • Support pupils through excellent assessment and feedback
  • Play an active role in the pastoral life of the school as a form tutor
  • Participate in the wider co-curricular programme
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards
  • Stay up to date with current teaching methodologies and mathematical developments
  • Encourage a love of learning and a positive attitude towards Mathematics

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics
  • Ability to teach across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high academic standards and pupil progress

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A-level Mathematics (Further Mathematics is an advantage)
  • Experience with curriculum development and enrichment activities
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school
  • Experience in pastoral care or form tutoring
