Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons using evidence-based teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a fully interactive Scheme of Work.
  • Support students across the ability range with a focus on mastery and progression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and research-informed CPD opportunities.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students through effective assessment and reporting.
  • Work within a structured and supportive department that values continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • Commitment to evidence-informed and research-based teaching practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching for mastery.
  • Background in a Research School or similar environment.
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a department.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
