Minibus Driver required for ad hoc term time work at a school in Nuneaton.

The Opportunity:

As a Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students to and from the school. This role is essential in ensuring student welfare and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the school minibus according to scheduled routes and times.
  • Ensure student safety by enforcing seatbelt use and proper baggage storage.
  • Use provided lists or mobile phones to minimize missed transport opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe and friendly environment for students during transit.
  • Adhere to all relevant legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and Highway Code.
  • Report any incidents or concerns promptly to the Premises Leader.
  • Ensure the minibus is kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition.
  • Support the school's mission by providing a reliable and professional transport service.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Valid UK driving license with appropriate vehicle endorsement.
  • Experience driving a minibus or similar vehicle.
  • Full clean driving record with no disqualifications.
  • Ability to work flexible, ad hoc hours during term time.
  • Commitment to student safety and welfare.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of school transport policies and procedures.
  • Experience with passenger safety and health and safety protocols.

Compensation & Benefits:
