We are seeking a dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join a dynamic and growing institution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Business and Economics to students aged 16-19.
  • Design and implement assessment strategies that support student progress and achievement.
  • Monitor and evaluate student performance to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the department.
  • Support students in preparing for examinations and qualifications such as A-Levels and BTECs.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to Business and Economics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and pedagogical practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business and Economics.
  • Experience teaching at the Sixth Form level or equivalent.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and take responsibility for individual and departmental targets.

Preferred

  • Experience with A-Level and BTEC qualifications.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience in mentoring and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Previous experience in a school or college setting.
