The Opportunity:

We are seeking an inspiring first-language speaker of German to teach across a range of year groups, including German Language A: Literature and German Language B at the IB level. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking, international educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach German Language A: Literature and German Language B at the IB level
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across multiple year groups
• Support students in developing their language skills and cultural understanding
• Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the curriculum and student experience
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Contribute to the school’s mission of promoting intercultural understanding and student well-being

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Native or first-language speaker of German
• Qualified and experienced teacher of German as a first language and foreign language
• Strong level of English
• Experience in teaching at the secondary level
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment

Preferred

• Experience in delivering the IB Diploma Programme
• Experience in a boarding school or residential setting
• Interest in combining teaching with a residential boarding position
• Familiarity with international curricula and teaching methodologies
