The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging physical education programs aligned with the IB curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for students of all abilities.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education with academic subjects.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular sports and fitness activities.
  • Promote the importance of physical health and well-being among students and the school community.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to student performance and program outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and its application in physical education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with international school systems and best practices in education.
  • Experience with performing arts or music education is a plus.
  • Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, French, or German.
