Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with the IB curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s academic programs.
- Support students in preparing for IGCSE and IB assessments.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and school events to build a strong sense of community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a recognized teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience with IGCSE and IB qualifications.
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, French, or German).
- Experience in a multicultural or international school setting.
- Familiarity with performing arts or collaborative global learning programs.
