Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective physical education lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and promote student well-being.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage physical activity, teamwork, and lifelong fitness habits.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education with academic learning and personal development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
- Stay current with best practices in physical education and student wellness.
- Promote a culture of health, fitness, and personal responsibility among students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and recognized teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching physical education at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and its application in physical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
Preferred
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
- Familiarity with the Nord Anglia Education framework and values.
- Experience in developing and leading extracurricular sports programs.
- Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, French, or German.
