Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective physical education lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and promote student well-being.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage physical activity, teamwork, and lifelong fitness habits.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education with academic learning and personal development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
  • Stay current with best practices in physical education and student wellness.
  • Promote a culture of health, fitness, and personal responsibility among students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and recognized teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching physical education at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and its application in physical education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
  • Familiarity with the Nord Anglia Education framework and values.
  • Experience in developing and leading extracurricular sports programs.
  • Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, French, or German.
