The Opportunity:

As a People Partner – Recruitment and Casework, you will support schools across the Trust with expert HR advice, guidance, and support. This role is pivotal in helping leaders manage employee relations, recruitment, and workforce planning, while contributing to a positive workforce culture and the continued success of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR support and guidance to school leaders on employee relations, recruitment, and workforce planning.
  • Manage complex casework including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management processes.
  • Advise senior leaders and managers on HR matters and build strong professional relationships.
  • Support the development of robust people policies, systems, and processes across the Trust.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, HR best practice, and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Contribute to organisational development and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and produce clear, professional reports.
  • Work independently and manage competing priorities with excellent organisational skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Significant experience managing complex employee relations casework
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion

Preferred

  • Experience advising senior leaders on HR matters
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • Commitment to the values of the school and its mission in Catholic education
