The Opportunity:
As a Principal's Personal Assistant, you will support the Principal in managing the strategic and operational aspects of a leading sixth form college. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Principal in managing the day-to-day operations of the office.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, and minutes for the Principal and senior leadership team.
- Manage correspondence, communications, and documentation for the Principal.
- Ensure the smooth running of the Principal’s schedule and priorities.
- Contribute to the overall success of the school through proactive support and collaboration.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support the Principal’s objectives.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for key events and projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or support role, preferably within education.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working at a senior level within a leadership team.
- Confident in managing complex and confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a sixth form or higher education setting.
- Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
- Experience in supporting senior leadership in strategic planning.
- Strong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Experience in managing external communications and stakeholder relationships.
