Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
• Plan and develop lesson content that fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform and enhance teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support a cohesive and enriching learning experience for all students.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
• Stay current with developments in Physics education and integrate new teaching methodologies and technologies.
• Support the school’s mission by contributing to extra-curricular activities and student development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures to protect student welfare.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related subjects
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject following the UK National Curriculum
• UK Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS)
• Knowledge of Data Disaggregation, Analysis and Differentiation for Students
• Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding results
• Ability to use data effectively to monitor and enhance student progress
