Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote student engagement and understanding.
• Plan and prepare resources that support the delivery of the UK National Curriculum and other relevant curricula.
• Monitor and assess student progress using data-driven approaches to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support student learning across subjects.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Stay up to date with subject-specific developments and integrate new knowledge into teaching.
• Support the school’s unique Quran memorisation programme where applicable.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and leadership skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related subjects
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject following the UK National Curriculum
• UK Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS)
• Knowledge of data disaggregation, analysis, and differentiation for students
• Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding

Preferred

• Experience with teaching in a multicultural or faith-based environment
• Experience with Quran memorisation or Islamic Studies
• Proven track record of achieving outstanding student results
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with curriculum development and innovation
