The Opportunity:

A Pre-Prep Class Teacher is needed to inspire young learners and lead a Form within the Pre-Prep department. This role offers the chance to contribute to a school that values high standards of teaching and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a Form in the Pre-Prep department.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum.
  • Work closely with the Head of Pre-Prep and other department heads to maintain the school’s ethos and objectives.
  • Support the pastoral care and well-being of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular and enrichment activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in early years or Pre-Prep education.
  • Strong academic background and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with children and fostering their development.

Preferred

  • Experience in a boarding or day school setting.
  • Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities or leadership roles.
