The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support student growth and achievement.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver cross-curricular, inquiry-based learning experiences.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student development and school goals.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent, along with a degree in the subject area being taught.
  • Valid teaching qualification such as a PGCE or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in primary education, with a strong track record of student achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to the principles of the International Baccalaureate and inquiry-based learning.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an IB World School or similar international curriculum setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting diverse learners.
  • Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
