The Opportunity:

As a Primary Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and empowering young learners to thrive. You will guide students in discovering their potential, encouraging ownership of their learning, and supporting them in reaching their full potential in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model a comprehensive understanding of the primary curriculum and tailor learning to each child's needs, abilities, and interests.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and extended through the Citizens Tapestry.
• Promote high standards of communication, collaboration, curiosity, and creativity in the classroom.
• Support the development of reading, writing, and math skills through a thematic curriculum.
• Communicate regularly with parents on student progress and well-being.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Ensure lessons are engaging, responsive, and inclusive, reflecting the school’s values and ethos.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Early Childhood Education.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar or larger educational organization.
• Strong knowledge of child development, curriculum planning, and early years teaching methodologies.

Preferred

• Experience in data analysis and report development.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based and project-based learning approaches.
