The Opportunity:
As a Primary School Technology Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering students' curiosity and creativity through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in STEAM subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Technology & Design, covering topics such as coding, 3D modeling, and robotics.
- Encourage students to think critically and solve real-world problems using a designer's perspective.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate ICT content with subjects like art and history.
- Foster meaningful relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching techniques and stay current with industry trends.
- Support a positive and collaborative school community through teamwork and shared goals.
- Guide students in developing skills for academic achievement and personal responsibility.
- Ensure a personalized and successful learning trajectory for each student.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).
- At least two years of experience as the lead teacher in a classroom.
- Strong ICT-CS skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards in education.
Preferred
- Background in Technology/Design teaching.
- Experience with block-based coding, 3D modeling software, robotics/electrical engineering, and productivity/multimedia.
