The Opportunity:

As a Primary Science Teacher Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping science education across EYFS and Primary. This is a unique opportunity to lead and inspire both students and colleagues, while contributing to a dynamic and innovative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Science across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in line with the National Curriculum
  • Drive high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring excellent progress and outcomes for all students
  • Enhance the use of science labs and resources to support high-quality investigations and STEAM opportunities
  • Use data effectively to inform planning, personalise learning and maximise student progress
  • Contribute to whole school improvement through collaboration and best practice modelling
  • Support the safeguarding, wellbeing and personal development of all students
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, students and parents
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and community events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong subject knowledge in Science across EYFS and Primary
  • Proven track record of impact in leadership or readiness to take the next step into middle leadership
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding teaching and learning
  • Creative, enthusiastic and student-centred approach to education
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced and high-performing environment

Preferred

  • Experience with enquiry-based learning and innovation in Science education
