The Opportunity:

As a Primary STEAM Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering an innovative, assessment-free curriculum that fosters creativity, problem-solving, and real-world application. This is an exciting opportunity to shape young minds through a cutting-edge STEAM+ program that integrates technology, design, and global challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and impactful STEAM+ lessons to Years 3 and above, with the potential to teach Computing and/or ICT in Secondary.
  • Integrate robotics, 3D printing, VR, and AR into the curriculum to enhance student learning.
  • Collaborate with a passionate STEAM+ team to develop and deliver cross-curricular, project-based learning experiences.
  • Support students in exploring global and cosmic challenges through the lens of the UN SDGs.
  • Provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the continuous growth of the STEAM+ program.
  • Engage in school-wide initiatives that promote the school’s mission of Go Beyond and student personal bests.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, QTS/QTLS or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • Proven experience teaching within a British or international curriculum.
  • A strong grasp of inclusive, high-impact teaching strategies.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a British school either internationally or in the UK.
  • Ability to teach STEAM at KS3 is desirable.

Preferred

  • Experience in Computing, ICT, or Design and Technology.
  • Passion for technology and innovation in education.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate cross-curricular learning and real-world problem-solving.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, values-driven school environment.
