Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with US curriculum standards for Design and Technology
• Integrate practical design projects with theoretical concepts to enhance student learning
• Utilize current technology tools such as CAD software and 3D printing in teaching and learning
• Manage a classroom effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student development and curriculum innovation
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff to ensure student success
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and innovation among students
• Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Design and Technology at the secondary school level
• Strong understanding of US curriculum standards for Design and Technology
• Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans that promote student engagement and learning
• Proficient in using current technology tools relevant to design education

Preferred

• Experience with international school environments and diverse student populations
• Demonstrated success in fostering student creativity and innovation
• Experience with collaborative teaching and cross-disciplinary projects
