The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (French) to join our growing team. This role will involve teaching across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, with the potential to expand into Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to delivering a high-quality, engaging, and innovative curriculum that supports student success and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Modern Foreign Languages (French) across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, with potential to expand into Key Stage 5
  • Deliver consistently outstanding teaching and learning experiences, using best practice and collaboration
  • Use student data to personalise learning and optimise progress
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge of French across all Key Stages
  • Show leadership impact by staying current with exam boards and pathways
  • Be creative and enthusiastic in the delivery of lessons
  • Promote the safeguarding and personal development of students
  • Work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents
  • Contribute to the school community through extra-curricular activities and events
  • Pursue continuous professional development as a teacher and leader

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised UK teaching qualification with QTS
  • Proven experience in teaching Modern Foreign Languages (French)
  • Strong subject knowledge of French across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4
  • Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Commitment to student progress and personal development

Preferred

  • Experience with Key Stage 5 teaching and pathways
  • Knowledge of exam boards and assessment frameworks
  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in extra-curricular and community engagement
