Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for a specialist SEMH and Autism setting
- Create a nurturing, trauma-informed environment that supports student wellbeing and progress
- Lead on safeguarding, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple campuses
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-calibre multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with therapists and specialists to deliver personalised learning pathways
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and local authorities
- Embed therapeutic and inclusive practices across all areas of the college
- Ensure high standards of education and outcomes for all students
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experienced Principal or Deputy Principal within SEN, SEMH, specialist provision or further education
- Deep understanding of trauma-informed practice and inclusive education
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted and/or ISA frameworks
- Proven ability in budget management, resource planning, and leading change
- Qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with significant SEN leadership experience
Preferred
- Experience in leading a multi-campus institution
- Background in developing and implementing therapeutic educational approaches
- Experience in creating and embedding organisational culture and values
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £80,000.00 per annum
