As Principal, you will lead a dynamic school through a significant transition into the Harris Federation. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all subjects
- Implement and monitor strategies to raise student achievement and improve educational outcomes
- Foster a positive school ethos that promotes high expectations, effective teaching, and strong relationships
- Collaborate with staff, governors, and parents to develop and implement policies that support student success
- Ensure effective use of resources, staff, and facilities to support the school's strategic goals
- Lead the transition to the Harris Federation, maintaining stability and ambition for all stakeholders
- Promote the school's curriculum and extracurricular activities to support students' personal and social development
- Ensure rigorous review of school performance and maintain strong links with the wider community
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in senior leadership, ideally as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher
- Demonstrated ability to raise attainment and improve educational outcomes
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment, and school improvement strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and high expectations for all students
- Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree or further professional studies
- Relevant Further Degree or NPQH qualification
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar structure
- Leadership experience in curriculum development and evaluation
- Familiarity with the Harris Federation’s educational model and values
