Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to students across key stages, ensuring engaging and effective teaching.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s vision for academic and personal excellence.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through individualized feedback and targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance pedagogical skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Promote the school’s values and ethos through consistent and positive behavior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching Spanish.
- Strong subject knowledge in Spanish and an understanding of MFL pedagogy.
- Experience in delivering lessons to a range of age groups within a secondary school setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a Multi-Academy Trust or similar educational setting.
- Familiarity with evidence-informed CPD and continuous professional development.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
