The Opportunity:

As a Progression Tutor, you will support learners in achieving their full potential through engaging and tailored learning experiences. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging learning programs tailored to individual learner needs.
  • Track and evidence learner progress, ensuring consistent engagement and development.
  • Liaise with the Education team and external agencies to support learners' personal and professional growth.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to shape and improve learning outcomes.
  • Adapt resources and sessions to meet the needs of learners with a wide range of abilities and requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with learners, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Support learners in developing essential life skills and employment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and evidence of learner progress and achievements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant degree qualification.
  • Qualified Teacher or Education and Training qualification at Level 4, or willingness to work towards this.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a specialist education environment.
  • Experience delivering differentiated programmes for learners with diverse needs.
  • Experience with regulated activity and safeguarding learners.
