As a Progression Tutor, you will support learners in achieving their full potential through engaging and tailored learning experiences. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging learning programs tailored to individual learner needs.
- Track and evidence learner progress, ensuring consistent engagement and development.
- Liaise with the Education team and external agencies to support learners' personal and professional growth.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to shape and improve learning outcomes.
- Adapt resources and sessions to meet the needs of learners with a wide range of abilities and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with learners, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Support learners in developing essential life skills and employment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and evidence of learner progress and achievements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant degree qualification.
- Qualified Teacher or Education and Training qualification at Level 4, or willingness to work towards this.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Preferred
- Experience working within a specialist education environment.
- Experience delivering differentiated programmes for learners with diverse needs.
- Experience with regulated activity and safeguarding learners.
