The Opportunity:

As a PYP Coordinator, you will lead and support the development of a dynamic and inquiry-based learning environment in the Primo (Early Years) Section. This role is ideal for an experienced IB educator who is passionate about fostering international-mindedness and student-centered learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the PYP curriculum across the Early Years Section.
  • Support teachers in developing engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that align with IB standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for staff, students, and families.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Promote and model international-mindedness across the school community.
  • Work closely with parents and guardians to ensure alignment with student learning pathways.
  • Contribute to the development of school-wide policies and practices that support student success.
  • Provide professional development and mentorship to Early Years teachers.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Advanced/proficient-level English language skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, or equivalent with PGCE and QTS.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience teaching in a reputable school.
  • Proven track record of outstanding student results.
  • Experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
  • Strong inter-cultural awareness and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or coordinating PYP programs.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment strategies and their use in the classroom.
  • Experience in developing and implementing student-centered learning approaches.
  • Passion for supporting student growth and development.
