Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum that supports student learning and development.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure all learners reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the academy trust to share best practices and resources.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and initiatives.
  • Promote the values and ethos of the school in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of religious beliefs and practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Religious Education.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student welfare.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development and resource creation.
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting.
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in Religious Education.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
