The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our Humanities Faculty. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives while contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Religious Education to students across the secondary age range
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people
- Inspire trust and confidence in students and colleagues
- Deliver high-quality lessons that align with the school’s values and aspirations
- Support the development of students’ spiritual, moral, and cultural understanding
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s curriculum and teaching practices
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Engage with the wider school community to promote the school’s ethos and values
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in the secondary sector
- Strong knowledge of teaching, learning, and behaviour management strategies
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience in Religious Education or related subjects
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or collaborative school environment
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to school-wide initiatives and values
- Experience in professional development and continuous learning
