Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
• Keep parents informed about school activities and student progress
• Support the inclusion of all students, including those with special educational needs
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and inclusion policies
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a safe and happy learning environment
• Assist in the implementation of school policies related to child protection
• Provide guidance and support to families in line with school procedures
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with families and children, particularly those with special educational needs
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to inclusion and equality

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting
• Knowledge of inclusion policies and practices
• Experience with child protection and safeguarding systems
• Previous experience in a similar support role
