The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning in Key Stage 2 with a focus on classroom engagement and pupil development.
  • Assist with the delivery of specialist subjects such as Art, Music, Science, and Languages.
  • Contribute to the boarding experience and support the pastoral needs of students.
  • Participate in staff meetings and collaborative planning sessions.
  • Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Assist with extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to younger students where appropriate.
  • Maintain a high standard of behaviour and conduct in line with school policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A graduate with a relevant degree, preferably in education or a related field.
  • Commitment to working in a residential setting with children aged 3-13.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or working with children in a school or educational setting.
  • Specialism in subjects such as Art, Music, Science, or Languages.
  • Previous experience in a boarding or residential environment.
  • Knowledge of child development and pastoral care practices.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
