The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain the high standards of cleanliness across the school. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, enthusiastic and committed to providing a welcoming and safe environment for students and staff. The position is part-time and term-time only, with flexible hours available between 4pm and 10pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all school buildings, including classrooms, common areas, and washrooms to the highest standard.
• Ensure all areas are tidy, safe, and in line with health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and use equipment correctly and safely.
• Work in a flexible manner to meet the needs of the school.
• Assist with any additional tasks as required by the school team.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment that supports the learning and well-being of students.
• Adhere to all health and safety, child protection, and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• No previous experience is necessary; full training and induction will be provided.
• Flexibility to work part-time and term-time only.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A clean and safe working environment is a priority.
