Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Food.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
• Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Design Technology Faculty and contribute to curriculum development.
• Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage in school-wide events and initiatives that promote the school’s values and ethos.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Design Technology and Food education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Design Technology, preferably Food.
• Experience teaching Design Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong commitment to student achievement and raising standards.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support the school’s values.

• Experience in curriculum development and leadership within a school setting.
