Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Biology and Chemistry to students of all ages.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a supportive learning community.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum developments and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
  • Support the school’s mission to promote student well-being, safety, and inclusion.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that enhance student engagement and learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a degree in Science or related field.
  • Relevant teaching experience, preferably in Biology and Chemistry.
  • Strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and international qualifications such as IGCSE, GCSE, IBDP, or BTEC.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and resources to support teaching and learning.
