Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Mathematics lessons that align with curriculum standards and promote student progress.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through meaningful learning experiences.
  • Participate in school events and activities that enhance the overall learning community.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate new teaching methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and recognized teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at the appropriate level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school following the English National curriculum or similar.
  • Familiarity with IGCSE, GCSE, IBDP, or BTEC qualifications.
  • Experience with inclusive education and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Fluency in a second language.
