Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Humanities department with a special focus on Geography.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting, preferably in a senior academic role.
  • Extensive experience in teaching and delivering Humanities subjects, with a specialisation in Geography.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant curricula and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing and developing a departmental team.
  • Familiarity with international curricula such as IGCSE, GCSE, IBDP, or BTEC.
  • Experience in a school within a global education network.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire others in a collaborative environment.
