The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Science Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic Science Faculty. This role offers the chance to inspire students and foster a deep love for science, making a meaningful impact on young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and impactful science curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge in science.
  • Encourage student curiosity and a lifelong interest in scientific inquiry.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment in the science laboratory.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Science.
  • Experience in teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for Science education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering science lessons to a range of ability levels.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in Science education.
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a Science department.
  • Previous involvement in extracurricular science activities or STEM initiatives.
