The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our science department. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on student learning and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach at least one science subject at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in the school’s strong professional development and training programmes.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment.
  • Work closely with other departments and external partners, including Knightsfield School.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in science.
  • Experience teaching science at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a high-performing school or academy setting.
  • Background in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) support.
  • Involvement in extracurricular or enrichment activities.
