The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Exam Invigilator to help supervise exams and ensure all regulations are followed. This role is essential to the smooth running of the school’s examination process and requires attention to detail, reliability, and a flexible approach to working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise exams in line with school and regulatory requirements.
- Collect and manage exam papers securely throughout the process.
- Work closely with the Exams Officer to ensure all procedures are adhered to.
- Attend regular training and refresher sessions to maintain compliance.
- Be available for at least four sessions per week, including early morning and afternoon shifts.
- Ensure a calm and professional environment during exam periods.
- Support the smooth operation of the school’s examination process throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of reliability.
- Availability for work in November and from January to June each year.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and after-school sessions.
- Experience in exam invigilation or similar roles is desirable.
Preferred
- Previous experience in an educational setting or with exam administration.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with examination regulations and procedures.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and requirements.
