A school seeking a dedicated Secondary English Teacher for Maternity Cover to join its successful English Department and deliver high-quality education across KS3–KS5. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English Language and Literature lessons across KS3–KS5.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Fully qualified and experienced Secondary English Teacher with a relevant degree and professional teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching English Language and Literature across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and IB.
  • Strong track record of successful academic outcomes and raising standards in English.
  • Commitment to personal professional development with recent CPD relevant to the role.
  • Ability to use a range of teaching strategies and manage a classroom effectively.
  • Experience of delivering outstanding lessons and supporting student progress.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
